Breakfast on the grass
This work was created during the Hacking Ikea workshop held at Design District Zagreb. The topic called “Contemporary forms of cohabitation” provoked solutions to unexpected problems that come from living in a modern and untraditional environment. It won second prize and a visit to IKEA Democratic Design Days in Älmhult.

In an urban context of city living and working from home we often lose contact with our natural surroundings. Breakfast on the grass consists of multiple moveable trolleys which are filled with living grass or other natural materials, inviting for a relaxing experience while working or sharing a cup of coffee with someone. Made from SOCKERBIT boxes for storage on wheels, with an added double bottom for excess water drainage.
